bacon&egg pie

Hello I'm Finn and last night I made bacon and egg pie for dinner with my mum. When my mum put the pastry on the top I wrote my name. It was easy and fun to make.

  1. Yummy Finn! I am pleased I didn't look at it until after I had eaten my lunch otherwise I would have got very hungry indeed! You seem to be enjoying your time in the kitchen this lockdown. Have you done much baking and cooking before or is this your first time having a go at it? If you had left over pastry you could have written your name using pastry or created a pattern. What will you bake or cook next I wonder. I will keep watching your blog to find out.

    1. Hi Ms Wilkinson I have done a lot of cooking before and I have been enjoying time in the kitchen. I have asked my mum if I can make pita pit toasties for tea tonight. From Finn

    2. Pita pit toasties...they sound good! What do you put in those and do you just toast them in a toastie maker? I think I might need the instructions Finn because it sounds like something I would like to eat for my tea some times.

  2. Another great cook Finn! This post had inspired me that maybe I should do some baking as it looks delicious. What did you use to write your name in the pastry? You might have to post how you made the bacon and egg pie for your classmates who might want to have a try at making one as well. Which part did you find the trickiest when making it?
I will be on the look out for your next blog post; wonder if it will be another food related post!

    1. Hi Miss Bargent yes I have wrote my name and my surname initial with a fork. I made my pie with pastry, eggs and bacon. The trickiest part was cutting the bacon because I got really sore hands form cutting the bacon. From Finn
